Hello

(Sorry I poosted the same thing in Skilled Workers" topic by mistake. Hers is the right place for my questions)

I landed (obtained PR Status) in Ontario on Dec 2008 in and left after 1 week with my family.
Re-entered last summer (after 3 and half year of absence) with my Wife and Children who settled down (Rent Apt / University and School subscriptions). Now they are well established and my wife has a part-time job.
So, I spent 1 month with my family last summer to prepare their startup and left again. (Total days in Canada for me = 40 days)
I did not find a job, so I had to work outside Canada to finacially support my wife & Children.
My PR expires on Jan 2014, i.e 5 months from now.
I am planning to visit them next month after 11 month of hard absence.

Q1- I am loosing my PR status of course, but want to keep a clean record that help my wife bring me back later on.
What should I (and shouldn't) say to the immigration officer at the Airport entry point ? Probably a questionnaire.

Q2- He will let me in anyway this time at least ?

Q3 - I want to visit them again at Christmas, last 2 weeks before my PR expiry. After which I'll seek for Multi-entry visa.
Will the Immigration officer return my PR during my August visit after warning me that I am loosing my PR Status or
he will let me enter but will confiscate my PR Card (So no hope for Christmas visit)

My objectives:
- Keep as clean as much my immigration records in the hope that my wife will apply to bring me back.
- Be able to make 2 visits before my PR expiry in Jan 2014

Thank you for any hint.

A1) Just answer their questions truthfully. It's as simple as that.
A2) Yes, you are still a PR until it's revoked or you relinquish it formally.
A3) You can't apply for a visa until you have lost your PR. They should NOT confiscate the card but will probably report you. It's then up to you to decide whether to appeal etc.
