I am a fourth year student conducting interviews for an independent research study in the department of Sociology, as part of the SOC440Y course at the University of Toronto. I am looking for first-generation immigrants to participate in this study regarding income gap between immigrants and Canadian-born citizens.
Please reply to this post if the following requirements apply to you:
- Are a male between the ages of 35 to 55 who has immigrated to Canada within the last 10 years
-Immigrated to Canada from any country in Eastern Europe or South Asia
-Currently reside in Toronto or Mississauga, Ontario
- Have a University degree that was earned outside of Canada
- Worked full-time in a professional occupation in your country of origin for at least 2 years before coming to Canada
- Have ever held full-time employment in a non-unionized and non-regulated profession in Toronto or Mississauga for a minimum of 2 years
