Looking for guidance for sponsorship

Hey guys, me and my fiancee are stuck in this pickle! I live in the US and she lives in CA, we've been dating for 4 years. I posted here and the recommendation was plan on getting married and applying outland for me to get into Canada... before Co-vid hit. Now we are debating on just having her fly here to get married over a weekend so we can start the process for inland or outland. We're just sick of not living together at this point...

1) Inland rout: She flies here, we get married, after I get the marriage certificate I book it to the boarder to get across so I can finally stay with her. Once I'm there we apply for inland PR, Work permit, and visitor extension all at the same time. My questions are:
A) Would that be a workable plan?
B) Would I be able to work AT ALL even cash jobs for family and friends just for grocery money? or am I going to have to wait the 6+ months for work authorization?
C) I do have a lot in savings so I can easily live there for 18 months of no income but it would be nice to not have to go through allllll of my savings waiting on work permit. Though after I get my work permit I will have a job through a family friend.

2) Outland rout: She flies here, we get married, after I get the marriage certificate we immediately apply outland PR and wait.....
A) Another year till we live together
B) Keep working here and saving up for the move

COVID (and mandatory 14-day isolation every time one of you crosses a border) aside, there is no reason that you couldn't visit frequently, even come to Canada to stay as a visitor for the entire process, as long as you can work remotely and aren't paid by a Canadian company.
There are strategies that you can employ beyond the binary your proposed.

Well until we're married I can't cross the border unfortunately and from what I understand when we get married it's still not exactly promised that I can cross unless it's to stay long periods of time.

I'm in construction so I can't work remotely unfortunately.

Once I'm there we apply for inland PR, Work permit, and visitor extension [not necessary, the WP application will keep you in status] all at the same time. My questions are:
A) Would that be a workable plan? [Yes]
B) Would I be able to work AT ALL even cash jobs for family and friends just for grocery money? or am I going to have to wait the 6+ months for work authorization? The work permit would normally arrive in 4 months-ish. Now who knows. There is a noticeable shortage of qualified tradespeople, at least in BC, so if you're any good at your job - particularly if you could live for up to 18 months without income - it won't be hard to find work.

Not a good idea to break the law when applying for PR so no you can’t work without a WP. If you need to work then apply Outland and remain in the US.

Oh okay I wasn't sure if there was a cap for income while there or something so I Figured I'd ask. Like I said I could sustain for up to 18 months on savings so I think I'd be good. Thanks for the reply
