I applied for a visitors visa on 1st June 2022. I checked the IRCC website for timelines and it said 9 days. I did my biometrics on 8th june at VFS in london. Since then i have had no updates even on the portal. I have sent emails to LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca for updates but no response at all. I have my flight booked for 13 July and now i may have to cancel it.
Has anyone had similar experience? Do they normally send an email requesting for passport or do they communicate via post? How long did it take? I really do not know what to do as before i applied i checkedI the IRCC website for timelines and it said 9 days.

Sorry to hear that but I feel you. I hadn't booked tickets but was hoping to go first week of July and still nothing. Fingers crossed we get it eventually.

When did you do your biometrics? Have they updated the site with your biometrics? Have you sent your passport to them? Tey havent updated the site with my biometrics number

Biometrics - Apr 14th and updated on GCKey on the same day.
No updates since.
No I havent sent the passport as I haven't received the PPR yet. Visit visas aren't their priority at the moment. Even work and study visas are taking longer than they should. The processing time on the website hasn't been accurate since April.
