Hi guys, I received a letter from London office 25 May 2009 with a NEW file number.
This is the first contact from London.
I applied to Sydney NS in February 2009 and got letter from them on March 4th 2009 informing me that I must send all supporting documents to London. I sent the documents to London on 5th May 2009.
Does anyone know how long it is for them to request medicals etc.

I also applied to London office and I received my new file number from few days ago. I think the London office works on a bit slow procedure if it is compared to New Delhi office as the applicants there they received the request for medicals and passports along with the AOR letter.
By the way, Is your letter includes a phrase that they will check your application if it is eligible or not if yes we will start process it owtherwise they will refund the full amount ?. And also did they mention that the average processing time is 12 months on average.
Hi Zaikhalid. Yes, the letter does say that, but I would imagine it is on all the letters sent from London.
I wouldn,t worry too much about it as there is another part of the letter that tells you to prepare yourself for immigration to Canada.

the letter says average processing time is 6 months.
I wonder if different visa office has different processing time.
