LOE and PCC query.....

Seniors please suggest,

1) For LOE, is it mandatory to write a signed letter and upload it in pdf. Can it just work to write a letter in word and convert it in pdf to upload ?????

2) For PCC, how old it should be while submitting application i.e. eApr ?????? Mine PCC will be arnd 2 months old by the time i submit my application.

1 - Not mandatory to sign it.

2 - 6 months assuming that's the PCC of your current country of residence.
