LMO & Work Permit

Hello All,

I am on a open work permit, my work permit is going to expire in October. But my work is going to extend for another 6 months.
I can't apply for work permit extension because i came on dependent and my wife is not here.

Can anyone guide me how to proceed with my situation?

Your employer needs to obtain an approved LMO. Once your employer has obtained an approved LMO, you must then apply for a closed work permit.

How long it will take to get the LMO? I heard that getting LM0's are difficult in toronto?
