Is it possible to get a positive LMO without advertising? I've noticed on the most up to date LMO application there is now a question:
"67. Have you attempted to recruit Canadian citizens/permanent residents for this job?
NO/YES. If no, please explain."
The obvious answer here would be no because I've been with my company for 28months therefore they don't want to hire an inexperienced Canadian citizen.
Has anyone heard of getting an LMO without advertising the position?
Not through all my observation and experience. It would be risky to process a LMO without advertising, you don't want any refusal or unconfirm results for that matter. So better be wise than taking chances my friend.

Your employer can only get away without advertising if you are currently working under a PGWP (post-graduation work permit). If you have a Temporary Work Permit - the advertising is mandatory. If your employer doesn't demonstrate that s/he tried to hire a Canadian, the LMO will be negative.
