I believe it takes some time between when the employer requests the job advertisement and when it appears on Job Bank. Hopefully someone with more details can confirm this.
As an employer I have had to do this several times, its up to the employer where they post the job. Usually when doing an LMO you want to run the ad somewhere that you are not likely to find other Canadians suitable for the position. We run ours in a specailty paper for the industry we are in, however there is not much in regards to our industry locally so we tend to get international applicants so this works to our advantage.
See once the employer runs the add you have to send in the received resumes for the position and detail why these Canadians can not fill that position. This has a huge barring on the LMO application. The employer also has to send in the advertisement to CIC as proof of advertisement, so I would ask your employer when and where they posted it.

Hi. As an employer yourself I just wanted to ask, if there are some employers in Canada who hire a person who is having only a TRV? I want to ask which industry is your business? In fact I am looking for a job anywhere in Canada since I am still waiting for my PR application and CIC had issued a newsletter that there will be some changes in the processing of all PR applications.
THanks for your reply as I really wanted to go and settle in Canada. FYI, I used to go there every year.God bless
