LMO Question

Hi everyone,

I've tried looking for the answer to this but not having any luck...!

I understand that if you have an LMO you must work for the same employer in the same job. Any changes e.g. promotion etc you must get a new LMO. What I would like to know is, does the LMO have to be site pacific? An employer would like to hire me to be able to work in more than 1 location. All the locations are in the same province and it is all the same company and I will be doing the same job. Anyone have any ideas if this is possible?

I believe the employer should inform cic of the change of location and cic will decide if a new lmo is needed - depending in the distance they might feel it changes the Canadian talent pool
