LMO processing time

Could you please help me regarding the processing time for LMO? after receiving a positive LMO what is the next step?

I just spoke to my lawyer friend -i am in Toronto- and he said average 12-16 weeks to get a LMO... far longer than before the new rules came out on July 31, 2013.

I am currently staying here in UAE and I'm on my 9 weeks now waiting for my LMO. Hoping and praying that I will receive my LMO soon.

Once you receive your LMO, you can apply for your Work Permit. Please CIC site for Processing time of Work Permit. I suggest you apply online for WP once you receive your LMO, Online process is fast compared to Paper appln and you also get notified about your status of WP (in email) once they make decision.

Still no news regarding my LMO How many months it will take for the processing of WP through online?
