My employer called Immigration to ask about the LMO application status. He was told, that my application (as web developer) will be for sure rejected, as only very highly-skilled people with salaries around 100k CAD per year or more will be given positive LMO's. Did any of you had similar signals? Are there any problems getting the positive LMO, except the fact that it's taking a long time? Thanks.
That's not true at all. However, your expected salary should be close to the average salary for that profession, or higher than the average. You can find out the average salaries of different professions here http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-salary-wizard.html. LMO processing time should be around 5 weeks, you shouldn't start to worry before 8 weeks.
Thanks.
Yup, the salary was an issue, but was solved to my favour and should be now alligned with the Immigration requirements. As of today, the processing time is about 4 weeks and the Immigration is working on applications received in January...
