Hi everyone,

I had my IEC visa in Canada. When I was there I gained a full years work experience (NOC Type B). My IEC has since expired and I moved back to my home country and still working for the same company and am coming up to another full years work experience with them. So in the next month I will have one years Canadian work experience and one years foreign work experience.

On my Express Entry profile, can I claim points for having a valid job offer which is LMIA exempt (for intra- company transfer).

If so, how do you even mark LMIA exempt on the PR application as that section only asks if you have a positive LMIA and doesn't give you an option to say it's exempt.

Thank you.

No you cannot. You would need to be in Canada on a valid closed work permit that lists your employers name.

You would have to get an ICT work permit, work in Canada for a year, and THEN get a new written job offer of at least one year to be eligible for the 50 points on an ICT.
