LMIA is generally 2 stage process
1 the employer has to conduct recruitment activities (jobbank registration, advertising the job at jobbank.gc.ca & other websites, interview few & prepare recruitment report)
2 after 30 days of advertising apply for LMIA stating you are the only one who will be able to work in that role and have to satisfy that by hiring you there is a net positive impact on the Canadian Labour Market.

Your employer will need to get a positive LMIA for the position that they are trying for you. A positive LMIA will show that there is a need for a foreign worker to fill the job. It will also show that no Canadian worker is available to do the job. A positive LMIA is sometimes called a confirmation letter.
Once you are able to secure a positive LMIA you can create an Express Entry profile and get 600 points added to your CRS score which will make you eligible to receive ITA in the next round of invitation post Express Entry account creation.
