i’m currently pgwp holder and have been working full time as restaurant supervisor Noc code 6311 but with 2 different employers. I worked with previous employer for 3 months and current one is 5 months by now. So I have about 4 months left to have 1 year experience. My current employer said that they have positive lmia for cook Noc code 6322.
So I’m wondering can they add me into their lmia now to support me so that i can have lmia letter ready to apply cec when i have enough 1 year experience . Or i have to wait until i finish 1 year experience and ask them to do that. Do I need to switch my noc code to 6322 in order to get their lmia?
Also, how long i can get lmia letter if they just need to add me into their lmia?
My point is that i want to get everything ready and apply right after i have enough hours .
I dont really understand how this whole lmia works but really good to widen my knowledge about this so that i can be more determined to discuss with my employer about this.

7. ESDC/Service Canada will add the names of the TFWs into the system and issue an official positive LMIA letter to the employer within 5 to 10 business days. The official positive LMIA letter will include the same expiry date as the unnamed positive LMIA letter
