How long does the LMIA 2015 for Foreign Live-in caregiver processing time takes? I'm waiting for over 3 months now.
Can anyone please give me an update of yours? I appreciate it.

Hi, my employer's LMIA application for his next caregiver was received on June 23 and it was approved on July 29. He received the letter for the positive opinion a week after. Before its approval, an officer called and interviewed him to confirm the details that were written on the application forms..//

He is an elderly with disability so he falls under people with high medical needs....//

Is there a way we can process in hiring a caregiver witjout spending a lot in getting an agency?

Yes..hire someone directly from the pool of your applicants when you post your ad. Or connect in the community like Filipino community if someone is looking for an employer. Normally somebody knows someone, a friend, a relative that wanted or looking for a job.you will just have to do all the paperworks but you will save a lot of $$$$.
