When my LMIA was issued the opinion expiry date was 10-12-2014. But duration of employment says 2 years in LMIA. and work permit was issued till Nov 2016.
Is this LMIA good enough for getting 600 points in express entry? I got this doubt because LMIA already expired.
As per my understanding, it will fetch u 600 points. The work permit is active and u hv a job confirmation..the LMIA expiry date is the date by when you should apply for visa.
Based on what you have here your LMO has already expired (Dec 2014) but your work permit is valid until 2016. In that case, you will not be able to use it. You will need a new LMIA to submit your EE. If it's expired you will not get the 600 points. To get the 600 points, your employer needs to apply for a new LMIA for you to prove that you have a valid job offer here. I am in a similar situation so this I am sure of. So if you need to indicate the expiry date to them it's Dec 2014.
How about in my case..did profile got 785 without ECAS but did it.result wasnt sent yet...my wp expires april 2015..4 years cap.. But LMO valid til feb 2016..what would be your thoughts about my case..what if ITA comes when my WP expires..u think i will get ITA before expirations of WP??

I'm on my 4 years cap this coming April...that is why they only granted me 1 year for my WP based on 2 years LMO..there is a remark on my Work Permit says..
Temporary Resident Status a restored as per R182
LMO# ***** valid for 2 years document issued to maximum compulsive duration as per R200/OB 523,FD/OSCAR
What was this all about....don't understand it didn't bothered to check all this numbers in CIC

Your LMO expiry date is Nov 2016. There is no doubt about this. I too have LMO until May 2016. You will get 600 points for it as well. The 6 months expiry is the opinion given on your LMO, before that you should apply for WP. Opinion expiry date has nothing to do with your LMO Expiry as long as you applied for WP before that.
