Hi,

My LMIA has expired March 1st. My boyfriend is sponsoring me through the COMMON law sponsorship and I applied for a work permit at the same time. CIC started processing my application on January 5th. Can I keep working if my LMIA has expired and if I am waiting for my work permit? Work permit applications take about 4 months to process, which would bring it to May 5th, so what status would I have for those 4 months?
