LMIA approved job is different than Experience

Hello Everyone,

I have a big confusion. Please help me out.

I have 1 year and 7 months experience as an assistant manager in retail industry. I have active express entry pofile as well with 365 points. My question is that can I 600 additional points with Approved LMIA Long Haul Truck Driver job offer or job offer has to be in retail industry only to get those 600 points. Please advise me asap.

As I mentioned in your other thread - no, you won't get 600 points. It needs to be a NOC A, B or 0 job to get the 600 points.

Thanks for your reply scylla. Hmm okay got it that it has to be in 0,A or B. But is it mandatory to be in retail only. I mean can I go for other categories like construction etc. as long as job title fall under 0, A or B category.

It does not have to be the same NOC as your prior work experience.
