Is there anyone who is waiting for the LMIA for the EE process only. As I read there is an option for employer to obtain LMIA to support the applicant in the EE process only. It is fee free and the processing time is 10 days.
Please, can somebody give me some explanation about the LMIA document. My husband is electrical engineer, and got a job offer from a company, and they are willing to do all the LMIA prices.
My question is next: Would there be any problem about the LMIA, considering the fact that this is licenced profession.
Thanks in advanced.
Got it in exactly 10 days. It is processed in 10 days or less if your hourly rate (the one reported to the government) is above the provincial/territorial median hourly wage.

my hourly rate was less than the median for Ontario (19 dollars/hour).. if your LMIA is just to support PR then u get it in 10 days... or if your job is in the highest paid jobs...if you apply with an LMIA for EE, you have to convince the PO that you are capable of doing the job...if the job requires a license then u need one.
How can he applay and obtain a license, when he is not currently living in Canada? Moreover, for the electrical engineer license he needs one year Canadian experience under supervision.

Hi, my employer have done the advertisement part for the process and now filling up the LMIA form for Canadian Experience Class and have a question as he has chosen the option to support PR only then what should be the anticipated date of employment as I am already working for this employer. Should it be after the expiry of my work permit which is July 2016. Could you please help. Thank you.
