Hello,

I have a question. A person whom your employer wants to hire, if he gets a positive LMIA, it doesn't matter what TEER it is? I mean, imagine he/she is a TEER 4, could he/she apply for a LMIA for that position? I'm not talking about using it for a permanent residency program, but as a pathway to work.

My other question is, with a positive LMIA (whatever TEER it is), and obtaining the corresponding closed work permit, you can stay working in the country during that time, right?
