Hi and thanks for this forum.

I have a LMIA file number but no approval yet. If I have file number is that a good chance for the LMIA? Or does it mean nothing. I have applied for work permit with the LMIA file number.
 
Thats a sign that your file has been assigned to an officer and it is a good sign that your file is progressing

Thats good to know that there is progress. Which province and what category( high wage or low wage) and noc have u guys applied?
 
I applied LMIA for food counter attendent in Manitoba. Applied for Federal on 6 September. still waiting. Has anyone applied in Manitoba ?
