I want to know about three issue:

What does LMAI exemption mean?
Can it be converted to PR after three years?
Importantly, if my IELTS results expire today, can I retake the test by next month and update them?

Only a few jobs are LMIA exempted - inter-company transfer, UMSCA specified NOCs.
No such thing as conversion, you apply for EE and if you have the CRS points drawn, you are invited.
If IELTs expire today then your profile is no longer eligible until updated.

If you have a LMIA and working in Canada, why do you need to apply from home country.

If you have a LMIA, you are already in Canada working and not in your home country.
