I want to know if you are PR holder living with a Canadian citizen abroad due to work. After the specific period can you apply for citizenship?

You cannot claim your days outside Canada towards citizenship as a PR, even though living with a Canadian. The only exemption to the rule is if PR or Canadian spouse is employed by federal government like military or federal government post.

Days spent outside Canada with a Canadian spouse does count towards PR RO. However be prepared to show proof of this when moving back to Canada to re-settle.
