Hi, my wife and I wanted to apply for spousal sponsorship through an inland application. I understand that we need to be living together for this to work. I am currently working in PEI on a closed work permit and she is studying in Ontario. I am wondering if it’s possible for us to live together in Ontario but for me to continue to be employed by the company in PEI. So I would be working for that company while living in Ontario. Would moving to Ontario create problems for the closed work permit or would being employed by an employer in PEI cause problems for the spousal sponsorship or the open work permit that I apply for?

Agreed. Tread very carefully - you don't want to end up with a misrepresentation finding. You need to be physically living in Ontario and working remotely for this to work.
Hi , I will be working as a truck driver for a company in PEI. So I will be driving through America and Canada and doing my resets in Ontario at my house where me and my wife live. I am doing this because I have a closed permit for PEI only and I can’t get one for my occupation in Ontario. What I wanna know is will they see this as a problem for an inland application? I just don’t want to quit my job and be unemployed while waiting for an open work permit and my employer agreed to let me continue working for them while residing in Ontario
