No because live-in caregiver is not skilled work. You can apply for a work permit as a live-in caregiver and do that application instead of FSW. You have to work as a live-in caregiver for 2 years, then you can apply for PR under the live-in caregiver program.
If she can arrange with the employer that she can keep the child with her, it's possible. A live in caregiver is living in the employers home, usually they just have 1 room.
could you please give more detailed info about the application for PR under the live-in caregiver program. how long does it usually take after filing the application?

The PR info for live in caregiver can be found here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/caregiver/extend-stay.asp#resident and the processing times here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/canada/process-in.asp#perm_res Right now 6 months.
I am not sure about the child. Ask the embassy or CIC. If the child can come, I think just a TRV which she would apply to extend every 6 months or if she's applied to keep the child with her the whole time, maybe it could get a TRV valid as long as her work permit. I have never known of a live-in caregiver to take a child with her but that doesn't mean that you can't or that nobody did it before, just that I haven't heard of it.
thank you for your reply. What is TVR? She is the one who legally holds all the guardian / adoption papers as the father of the child has lost his parental rights - will it help?
Could you please advise me whether it is possible to have the application for the live-in caregiver denied because of the lack of registered experience in this area? The matter is that I've got a huge experience in other field, but never worked as a caregiver before. But I do have lots of personal experience as I had a disabled Grandmother at home whom I had been looking after for 5 long years until she died.

If one has an experience as a live-in caregiver for 3 years, but that job has been done by personal agreement-employment, not thru the angecy, can it be counted as an experience required by visa office? will not application be denied?
Work experience for a private employer is just as good as experience working through an agency. Just get a letter from the private employer to verify the 3 years experience, hours of work, salary, duties etc.
Thank you for your reply. Could you please also advise me what type of letter it is supposed to be in order to prove to authorities that it's not a fake? Should it be notarized? If yes, if notary public is ok for that?
