Can a permanent resident hire me as a live in caregiver, or does she have to be a canadian resident? It doesn't say anything on cic !
 
As long as the permanent resident has the necessary requirements (elderly, kid/s, disabled) and income and accommodation. And you are qualified, that is training or experience, education (equivalent to secondary educ in Canada) and knowledge of one of Canada's official language
