Can a Live In Caregiver who has 1000 hours left to complete out of 3900 in the program leave Canada for about 1 year and come back and complete those hours (with valid employee who allows this)?
 
I'm sorry you can't !
 
I've read about this at CIC website. Check there for making sure or call them !
 
Depends upon the employer. But if the employer allowed the caregiver to go on leave for a year then they probably do not really need the caregiver.
