hi im presently working as live-in caregiver here in alberta. i want to ask if i can go for a vacation after a year of working here. it will be affected my PR application soon? thanks in advance.

I would say Yes, you can go for a vacation based on my experienced. when i started working as a live-in caregiver, i went home after two months here in Canada and after that every year. The only thing that affects is the number of days that your not present in Canada that will be deducted on the number of months or days to apply for PR. we need 24 months b4 applying PR.

Valid passport at least 6 months
Valid re entry visa
Letter from employer
OEC from Philippines
