I plan on moving with my car across the NY/ON border. I know I need to export my car on the USA side. Two Questions:
1. Has anyone gone through the new process as of April 2014 where you need to send in your title 72 hours before exporting? Was it easy? Any issues?

2. Did you list your car in your B4 form of goods you are bringing in when you land?

The process isnt new. You fax your title to the US side of the border 72 hours before you show up there. Make sure you stop at the US side before you reach Canada. There wont be anyone to stop you in the US side so you have to do it yourself. The process is simple in both sides if you have all the paperwork completed. You should also check the hours when they would process exports. Just because they are open 24 hours, it doesnt mean they process exports any time. Yes it should be in you B4 form with its value in Canadian dollars.

there are a few threads on this board that outline the process. The RIV website and call agents are also helpful. what specifically is giving you difficulty?
