linking offline application to GCKEY

Hi all I have applied offline but I am not able to link my application online because on my passport the surname field is empty.

Can I link my application with GCKEY without family name??

Is there any other way to check my application status?

Yes keep the family name field blank.

Will cic email me the medical request letter after I linked my application online?

If you link your account then all contact by cic will.be through this account and you will not receive anything on your mail id. Even medical request if required by cic will be sent through this account so monitor it regularly for any updates.

Irrespective of whether you link your application online medical if required will be intimated to you .

Hello team,
I have a question regarding my medical for student visa. I had my upfront medical on 25th dec 2018, after which I got a medical furtherance letter on 8th Jan 2019. According to which the embassy has asked me to have an expert advice from a chest specialist. I followed the request and my report was again sent to the embassy on 11th Jan.


So, it's been more than a month now but I have not got any mail for medical, should i guess that i am cleared with it????


Moreover, i have filed my student visa on 8th Feb ,hoping for best results
