I have a query regarding licensed (regulated) occupations. I have applied under EE with NOC code 2173 (software engineer). Yesterday, i found that 2173 is a regulated occupation unlike 2174.
What does it mean for me as an applicant? Do i need to register/ get a license before getting an ITA. I'm from India where thisnis an unregulated occupation and i have sufficient work experience to prove this.
Or does it mean I can apply for EE and maybe provincial nomination too, but i need to get a license once I land there?

Hi. I am from India, currently creating my EE profile. My NOC code is 2174. I would like to get your knowledge on 2174 regulated or non-regulated status. I assumes you might have done background research on the same from your statement "i found that 2173 is a regulated occupation unlike 2174.".
Any help from your end is greatly appreciated.
