Letter of Intent to reside in Ontario

Do we need to write a letter of intent to reside in Ontario, if we don't have any ties in Ontario.

Maybe; describe how our Job can add value to Ontario?

Is it a mandatory requirement as I am confused about this aspect of the application. Some people are writing while others are not.

this is mandatory as per checklist and application form (F) Intention to reside in Ontario.

So you have to provide this to show why you wan to move here (in Ontario). They want to know how you can add some value and whether you will stay here or not.

So we can write something more than our ties to Ontario? In case we don't have any ties, we can say how we can establish ourselves in Ontario?

yes surely you can. for eg your education and your experience back home and how you can integrate those skills in ontario according to job market over here and labour shortage.

also if you can get an offer letter from any employer in ontario then it will make your case strong and you can add you have few friends and relatives if you have any then it will help too.

Thanks. I have a friend in Ontario who has a PR and family friends as well. In case, I write this in my letter of Intent, do I need to show a proof of this?

I have frns too...Wrote this in my letter but did not support it with any proof. I have got AOR and I think they can request for proof if they need. Proof of relationship are majorly asked/shown for family relations...

Although I know few people who gave their LinkedIn link and contacts of their frnds to prove it. U can do so too..

this will suffice. as said by preeti. Do not complicate them just give your friends detail with passport number or pr card.

A good idea is to include your friend's address and phone number. They will call them and ask details about your personal relationship. My friend from Toronto has done this already for another person in the past.
