Hello
To those who gotten ITA FSW stream, I'm trying to figure out which document to upload for Letter of Employment. I was thinking about my latest letter of employment and job offer or this one pertains to LMIA?
Anyone?
If you bother to Google Letter of Employment.. it is another term for Employment Verification Letter. So, you need your employer to write you a verification letter (different from reference letter).
I am going to upload PR letter from my company. Just in case, I have other PR letter from previous company. That's really complicated document we upload to CIC.

Exactly because that doesn't say any clue. Seems like the same as reference letter but I'd rather upload my job offer and I would try to call CIC just to confirm. I don't want my application be return due to incomplete documents.

You mean that you are going to upload your job offer for "Letter of Employment"? But we have section to upload document for "Offer of Employment", don't we.

Google is your best friend. Letter of Employment = Employment Verification/Confirmation Letter which not quite the same as a Job Offer Letter nor is it the same as the reference letter (if it is then you wouldn't have to upload it again as a separate document).
Generally speaking, it is a letter confirming that you are currently working at X company located in Y for Z amount of time at current wage & receiving current benefits. You don't need to list the responsibilities (which is part of the reference letter). It is also the same document you show to your landlord when you apply to rent an apartment.

because everyone in the other threads said you should post some of your duties in general so that CIC verifies your NOC, what you are saying is more like a reference letter than a letter of employment, i saw their CIC website, i dont have the link, but it clearly states that you should post some of your duties and responsibilities
I do not see where the complication comes from. One is a reference letter with specific instructions outlined and you just have to make sure every piece of information requested is on the reference letter. The other one is a job offer letter which is the initial document your employer provided you with to say that they have hired you. The last one is the letter of employment to state that you are currently working for that company and if you choose to you can include your responsibilities as well.

The one with duties and responsibilities listed is the reference letter and that's according to the document check list instruction, but if you choose to you can include them in your letter of employment as well and you can include anything that is irrelevant if you choose to. Letter of Employment is a simple document, I don't understand why people are making a big deal of it while there are tones of samples online. CIC didn't given any instructions about it because the name itself is self explanatory.
