I am just wondering if the total income for the 3 years is more than what’s on the income table, can CIC consider it?
For me, for family size of 6 - exceeded the income requirements for 2019 and 2020 but short of $2272 for 2018 because my wife was nursing our new baby and didn’t work full time in 2018.
Do you think a letter of explanation would suffice on this to cic or parent’s income ?
The requirement is to meet the income requirement in all the years ( and during the processing up until the land) to qualify. There is no exception and a letter of explanation won’t make a difference.

Why would they “ try “ when it’s plain to see they are not qualified, and the poster has STATED they are NOT eligible. You’re encouraging someone to apply and potentially take a spot from someone that is qualified, and help mess up a program even more
Hi guys, I am confused on if I am eligible for PGP 2020. I would like to sponsor my mom and dad. Can someone please assist me with below questions?
1. Is it just the income stated in LICO table or there is plus 30% for years 2018, 2019 and 2020?
2. I got married in 2017 and my husband landed as a PR in Jul 2018. Since he was not in Canada for 7 months (maximum) during first half of 2018. What will be the family count for 2018 - will it be just 3 (myself + my parents) or 4 (myself, my parents + my husband)?
3. If I count just myself for family size in 2018, then I meet the eligibility criteria however if i combine my husband’s income (family size of 4) then we are short of few hundred bucks. Can his income in back home for year 2018 be counted?
