If I say on my visitor visa that I will stay for a certain time then change my mind after the visa is approved to the amount of time I am going to stay (e.g from 1 month to 2 months) and my visitor visa is valid for 6 months, will I run into any problems? Just want to know because my length of stay isnt certain so I dont want the immigration officer to be suspicious or anything (assuming they have access to my application).
The time you ask for when you apply for a visa is one thing to get an approval but when you arrive you will be assessed at that point in time for how long you could get regardless of what you said in your application. You could get a default 6 months or you could get less just depends on the CBSA assessment of your answers to any questions about your visit.
