I forgot to apply for extension of my visitor visa, and over stayed my 6 months allowed period by a few days, I have applied for restoration of visa status now, but I do need to leave the country in a month, if a decision is not made until then on my restoration application, would leaving the country be an issue.
I do plan to come back in a year but I am suspecting my restoration application be cancelled after I leave, I am wondering if I will have to apply for a new visitor visa again from my home country? my current visa is valid for a few years, not sure if I would be able to use the same visa for new entry after a year
please help.
