We will apply for PR for common in-law before the end of June, and we will visit my home country in august and come back before my study visa expires(sep/10)
I'm curius if its okay for us to travel to my home country and safetly come back to canada or if itll effect my PR application and if im allowed to come back to canada.
You can’t go on vacation for that long after applying inland. Visa officers seem to accept 2-3 weeks vacation max but you are technically supposed to remain in Canada the whole time. You may also run into problems entering Canada since your program has already ended and your next one begins in January.

If you finished your studies in April then your permit should be expiring sometime in July. A permit is valid for the length of your study program, plus an extra 90 days. Regardless of what the expiry day printed on the study permit. These 90 days give you time to either leave Canada or apply to extend your stay as a visitor. If you leave Canada you might not be able to enter with the study permit of the program you have already completed...
