Question... My husband is expecting his new work visa in the mail. His expired, and he is now on a visiting visa. Normally you need to cross to border (leave Canada) to activate the visa.
Is this the same when extending a visa? Trying to plan if we need to cross the border...

Also, anyone have their timeline how long the visa took to come in the mail after receiving the letter in the mail saying it has been approved?
