Leave and enter Canada on the same day

Pls correct me if i am wrong...A 3 years multiple entry TRV holder only allowed maximum of 6 months per stay in Canada, right? Can that person leave and re-enter the country on the same day? Thanks!

No guarantee that they would be admitted, as a TRV only allows one to apply for admission to Canada, it does not guarantee admission.
