Hi,
I am moving into a room in a townhouse and i signed a lease for 6 months with the landlord (He doesn't live there). The lease signed is not the Ontario Standard lease and is just a basic lease format found online. I would like to know if it's valid, or if it's better to get a OSL signed from the landlord instead? Can the lease which I signed currently be used as a proof of address for official documentations, especially for OHIP?
