Hi everyone, Sorry if this is the wrong place for this thread.
I'm just wondering if it is possible to learn how to drive in the province of Manitoba on a visitor visa?
I'm from the UK, currently 24 and do not hold a UK drivers license.
Thanks in advance!
They usually need a permanent Canadian address when you apply, so if you are just a visitor, I assume you don't have one. Also, it takes a while to get a full license here. Do you have a learners permit from the UK? I had one and was able to sit the test right away.
Well, I am on a visitor visa or will be again as I'm in the UK at the moment. I live in Canada with my girlfriends who is Canadian, but we haven't yet declared it.
I do own a learner's permit yes
She is currently pregnant and as you'd expect I'm in quite a hurry to get back to her, ASAP. So sitting my test and stuff over there would be a major convenience.
