I am on Global Talent Stream visa and currently in Canada. I have been laid off from my sponsor company in Canada 9 months after I started working in the company.
Please advise me if I am able to stay in Canada until my Global Talent Stream visa expires.

Yes, you can remain in Canada without working until your visa expires.

Is there any benefit to find a job because of GTS visa I have at the moment? For example, my GTS can be transferred to another employer ?
It is really difficult situation to lose a job in the middle of the pandemic so I would like to know how I can find a job in Canada.

No there is no benefit of having the GTS visa for finding a job as it is not transferable. You need to find an employer willing to go through the process, pay the fees and fill out the paperwork. Then if positive, you apply for a new work permit.
