firstly actually i am giving ielts for Australia . i am not sure that for all countries ielts remians same?
secondly i am in uae.(sharjah) and will give my test in British Council. i want to know do the Exmainers repeat the same topics ?

in writing task
what kinda letter was given to you ?
what type of questions the examiner asked you?

your help can make alot of change in my preparations

yes, whatever country your doing the exam its the same, since the IELTS is a unified test.
well there is a number of exams that the examiner have, and he choose randomly for you one, thats regarding the speaking test.

in writing exam, they asked me 2 essays, first was short and its weight was 4/10, they asked to write a letter for 3 of your friends telling them that you booked a room in a hotel for your trip, state in the letter how much it will costs them, and give them details what you prepared for them (plans) for the trip,....
the next essay, talk about do you agree or disagree that prisoner should get out from prison? or should stay all their life there?
give examples and ideas from real life. and why you accept and why you don't.

but man take into consideration that those questions was on 2010, it may been changed now, i dono.

am 4m lebanon,

well australia is almost like canada and in some prespectives is better too, but as much as am hearing in the news there is a big crises there now, lot of destroyed houses and dead citizens and lost people. watch the news bro.
