last year rejection of uk visitor visa effect Canada student visa application ?

I have applied for visitor visa last year to U.K and got rejected
I have just completed my studies in 2012 ,no gap in studies and going to apply for canada student visa

I want to know ,Is that rejection have any negative impact on my study application for canada
