My ceremony is on Wednesday, still haven't heard anything. I did see on another thread that a person never received email/invite/oath notice; their VO later contacted them to reschedule, so that's good. I'm not too worried about missing it.
However, I'm wondering if any of you had a very last-minute email for your online Oath Ceremony? And how close was it - 6 hrs before? 24 hrs before?
Thanks, I'll keep trying. I get the busy message. I did see another poster say an IRCC call centre person told them they could receive the email up to an hour before the ceremony ( L O L ) and to keep waiting.
Has this actually happened for anyone, where they got the invite an hour before?
It seems, generally, when the notice is sent people see something akin to: "We sent you a notice on February XX, 2022 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on March XX, 2022 at 7:45 AM."
I don't have anything like that in my ECAS, but I will keep an eye on it.
Last week I used the email I had from my test. I also sent a webform. I may bug my friend tomorrow for the Vancouver Ceremony IRCC email if I still haven't heard anything, or if I see a notice that the information was actually sent in ECAS, which it has not.
