Landing using own vehicle without importing it and returning back to US

Friends,

I am planning to finish off the landing formality by next month due to the immigrant visa validity. I do have to return to US since I still have my job here, the plan is to move to Canada eventually in a year's time. Now the question is can I drive my own car without exporting to Canada and return to the States? I own the car's title and not the bank. I found few forum topics on this but would like a fresh set of ideas if anyone has done it recently?
