landing question

hey everyone
my husbands medicals will expire on the 11th of january, his flight lands on the 11th in vancouver. is this okay or does he have to be there before the 11th? also i know theres many weather probalems in europe causing delays and if by chance theres a delay and he arrives on the 12th what will happen? theres no way we can book an earlier filght as theyre not issuing his visa until januarary and he has to be in canada by the 11th!! so confused please help!

If he arrives on the 11th, fine, if the 12th his visa will be expired and he will be refused admission.

thank you PMM, if by any reason we dont get his visa by the 9th when he leaves do you know if they will issue a new one as his medicals will expire on the 11th?

I know the general policy is that the medical must be valid but I have seen at least one posting on here by someone who was given an extention on their visa beyond the expiration of their medical without having to get a new one. So... don't know what would happen in your case but there is some hope. Good luck!
