Can you go through same customs line (foreign national) with your Canadian spouse? Or he/she has to go in through citizen section?

Does Canada have airports that separate resident and non-resident? I’ve never seen one here. Not saying there isn’t, just the Canadian airports I’ve been in didn’t have separation. I’ve seen this in the UK and Ireland though. I would say it depends on the airport.

You can go through the Citizen line with your spouse. In YVR they have line for citizens and foreign nationals, not sure about the other airports.

I am landing to Toronto which has a separate line as well. So you are telling me that, as a foreign national I can go to citizen line with my Canadian spouse and get processed together?

In YVR we asked the person where the 2 lines are, said they were doing their landing so they sent all of us to the citizen line up for Customs, then we all went together to Immigration for the paperwork processing.

I don't remember everything bust mostly about did you commit any crimes, do you have covid symptoms, place of quarantine, is there a shipment coming after, etc. Easy questions
