Landing on COPR

I'm ending my OPT in the USA early and planning a soft landing on COPR in July. I also wanted to take a break before that and visit family in India. Which one of the two options would be recommended?

• Ending OPT and going to India from the USA and then landing in Canada (my COPR is valid until 12/8)
• Doing a soft landing from the USA to Canada and leaving Canada for a vacation in India and traveling back on PR Travel Document (PRTD)

Option 1. Getting PRTD may not be as simple and straightforward. If you know you want to leave Canada so soon better do the landing later.
